The Shore at Mockhorn Bay accommodates up to 80 guests. This intimate capacity is by design—it ensures every wedding feels personal, unhurried, and deeply special, with the full expanse of the estate available for your guests to enjoy.

Venue rental is $8,500 plus applicable state and local sales tax. This includes exclusive use of all 46 acres for the day of your event, use of the 1,000 sq ft bridal suite, dedicated 200-amp electrical service, parking for guests and vendors, on-site venue manager, and dock access for one hour of photos (by arrangement).
Never. We host one wedding at a time, always. When you book The Shore at Mockhorn Bay, the entire estate is exclusively yours—there are no other events, no other guests, and no shared spaces. Complete privacy is one of our most cherished promises.
To conform with Northampton County noise ordinances, all reception activities must conclude by 10:00 p.m. We are happy to discuss your timeline during the planning process to ensure a seamless and beautiful celebration within this window.
Yes, vendor setup prior to the day of the event can be arranged. We work closely with your vendor team to coordinate access and ensure everything is in place before your celebration begins. Please discuss your specific setup needs with us in advance.
The estate provides parking for approximately 40 cars, with a separate designated area for catering, DJ, and other vendors. This separation ensures smooth guest arrival and vendor access without any interference.
Clients must obtain and provide proof of event insurance prior to the event. If your caterer does not provide alcohol service, you must also obtain and show proof of a one-day ABC license. We are happy to provide guidance on obtaining both during the planning process.
For safety reasons, the dock is closed to general guests during events. However, the dock may be used for wedding party photos for one hour with prior arrangement—providing a stunning, exclusive backdrop for your portraits.
Yes. Booked couples may use the estate grounds for engagement and/or bridal photo sessions. The natural waterfront landscapes, tree-lined lawns, and dramatic coastal vistas make for extraordinary photography. Please coordinate timing with us in advance.
A signed contract and a 25% deposit reserves your date. A second payment of 25% is due six months prior to your event. The remaining balance is due sixty days before your wedding. A refundable $1,500 damage deposit is also required sixty days prior, returned within 5 business days after your event provided all venue policies are followed.
